The word “stones” in scripture is a metaphor in the natural to describe things in the spirit or unseen world. 1 Peter 2:4 as God calls us to become as living stones, “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (NKJV).
Through a detailed word study of the use of “stone,” from the Old and New Testament, you and your children will begin to see some of the most popular and well known stories of the Bible in a completely different way. What has always seemed like simply good stories will now bring a passion, understanding, and zeal to each child of exactly what their calling and purpose is on earth as living stones for Christ.
There are eight biblical principles broken down into 4 separate days of family devotional, with an additional day set aside for family worship based upon each principal, your family will take a 40 day journey into their calling as living stones.
